Sandy’s Story

Posted on October 4, 2009

Sandy is one of the managers at a local and very popular micro brew pub in Colorado. She shares a story of a young man who displayed what she considers some of the right things that it took for him to get her attention and to get the job HE wanted.

“I had a young man come in at 11am to turn in his application. Since he came in at an appropriate time I was able to discuss his availability and application. This meeting turned into an interview and a job! He came in prepared, dressed to impress, and showed past restaurant experience. Timing is everything.”

Sandy’s idea on what is the biggest attribute she looks for in a job applicant…

A) Past restaurant experience

B) Length of previous jobs.
