Tattoos? Good or bad for your job search?
Question: Which is more important in the long run, getting tattoos, or a good job?
The odds of you landing a NBA pro basketball job are slim. If you are the best in the world at something, you can probably sport as many tattoos as you want. But I’ll bet at 17, your not the best, yet.
I ran across an article in the paper that might help you make a decision about whether to get a tattoo. Check it out.

I shop at Sam’s Club 2 or 3 times a week. Many of their younger employees have lots of visible tattoos. Obviously Sam’s Club doesn’t care.
If your goal is to work at Sam’s Club for the rest of your life, get some tattoos and apply there. If your goals are higher, wait.
“At 17, 19 or 20, you don’t know what your future holds,” Mielock said. “I am not against tattoos or self-expression, but other people are going to form perceptions of you based on these things. I recommend if you’re going to get a tattoo, get it where you can cover it up.”
Happy job hunting!
